Dermatologist Orkun ERDEN

I was born in Ankara in 1986. I graduated from Ankara Kalaba Anatolian High School in 2005. In 2011, I completed my undergraduate education at Kırıkkale University Faculty of Medicine and received the title of Medical Doctor. After graduating in the same year, I ranked 100th in Turkey in the medical specialization exam and started my dermatology specialization at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital. During my assistantship training, I observed the serious relationship between dermatological diseases and psychological diseases, and for this reason, I started to practice by taking hypnotherapy and EFT (emotional freedom technique) training. I completed my Dermatology specialization in 2015 and received the title of Dermatology Specialist.

In order to approach my patients not only from a dermatological perspective but also holistically and to enrich my treatment options, I received certified training in acupuncture, ozone therapy, larva therapy, hirudotherapy, hypnotherapy, cupping therapy approved by the Ministry of Health, and added complementary methods accepted all over the world to my treatment scheme and offered supportive methods other than pharmaceutical medicine to my patients. I started. In 2015, I started working at Ankara Occupational Diseases Hospital, which was my first specialty and compulsory service position, and worked on Occupational Dermatological Diseases in this institution. I received the "Best oral presentation" award at the 27th National Dermatology Congress with my oral presentation titled "Mercury Intoxication Due to the Use of Stain Lightening Cream" about Occupational Dermatological Diseases. After completing my compulsory service, I moved to Istanbul in 2018 and started working as a Dermatology Specialist at Medipol Çamlıca University Hospital and established the first Cosmetology and Complementary Medicine Unit in this institution. Later, in 2019, I started working as an assistant professor and Head of the Department of Skin and Venereology at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. During this period, in addition to performing intensive cosmetic applications and laser applications, I also provided training to foreign doctors who came to our country for training in cosmetic applications such as botox, fillers and mesotherapy in our cosmetology unit, within the scope of a certified training program in the field of cosmetic dermatology and clinical dermatology. At the same time, I contributed to the training of new doctors by providing dermatology training at Biruni University faculty of medicine.

Dr. of Atlas University Medicine Hospital, where I am currently working in 2020. I was appointed to the Faculty Staff and I continue my duty as a Dermatology Specialist. I am currently performing a wide range of cosmetic applications, laser applications and complementary medicine applications at Medicine Hospital. In the field of aesthetics and cosmetic dermatology, we also actively apply botulinum toxin (botox) applications, hyaluronic acid and filler applications, aesthetic mesotherapy, thread suspension applications, non-surgical face lift, and skin rejuvenation applications with energy-based devices.

While we primarily explain to our patients and clients the path they will follow in the formation of health and healthy skin structure by complying with the requirements of preventive medicine, we use cosmetic and dermatological treatments as well as acupuncture, cupping therapy, hirudotherapy, ozone therapy, hypnotherapy and methods that will heal their needs when necessary.
